वॉयस टाइपिंग कैसे काम करती है
आपका ब्राउज़र माइक से आपकी आवाज़ सुनता है और उसे टेक्स्ट में बदलता है। यह काम ब्राउज़र की अपनी स्पीच रिकग्निशन सुविधा करती है, इसलिए यह Chrome और Edge जैसे ब्राउज़र में सबसे अच्छी चलती है और इसके लिए इंटरनेट चाहिए। dototool आपकी आवाज़ की रिकॉर्डिंग अपने सर्वर पर नहीं रखता।
कदम-दर-कदम इस्तेमाल
- डिजिटल नोटबुक खोलें और Home टैब में जाएँ।
- अगर आपको हिंदी में बोलना है तो बटन पर “🎙️ बोलें (हिंदी)” दिखना चाहिए। अंग्रेज़ी के लिए “🔤 अ/A हिंदी” बटन से भाषा बदलें।
- “🎙️ बोलें” बटन दबाएँ। ब्राउज़र माइक की अनुमति माँगे तो Allow दबाएँ।
- बटन लाल हो जाएगा और “सुन रहा हूँ” दिखेगा। अब बोलिए। जब आप बोलते हैं तो हल्के रंग में शब्द दिखते रहते हैं, और वाक्य पूरा होने पर पक्के हो जाते हैं।
- जब तक आप बटन दोबारा नहीं दबाते, यह चलता रहता है। बीच में चुप रहें तो भी यह अपने-आप दोबारा सुनना शुरू कर देता है।
- काम पूरा होने पर बटन दबाकर बंद कर दें।
बेहतर नतीजे के लिए टिप्स
- शांत जगह चुनें। पंखे, टीवी या भीड़ की आवाज़ से गलत शब्द आ सकते हैं।
- साफ़ और सामान्य गति से बोलें। बहुत तेज़ या बहुत धीमा बोलने पर शब्द कट सकते हैं।
- माइक पास रखें। फ़ोन में माइक के पास, कंप्यूटर में अच्छे हेडसेट का इस्तेमाल करें।
- वाक्य छोटे रखें। एक साथ बहुत लंबा बोलने की जगह छोटे वाक्य बोलें।
- विराम चिह्न बाद में जोड़ें। वॉयस टाइपिंग में पूर्ण विराम और कॉमा अक्सर नहीं आते, इसलिए बोलने के बाद उन्हें कीबोर्ड से जोड़ लें।
- बाद में एक बार पढ़ें। नाम, संख्याओं और अंग्रेज़ी शब्दों को दोबारा जाँचें।
हिंदी टाइपिंग मोड भी आज़माएँ
अगर आप बोलना नहीं चाहते, तो “🔤 अ/A हिंदी” चालू करें। फिर अंग्रेज़ी अक्षरों में “dhanyavaad” लिखने पर “धन्यवाद” जैसा हिंदी शब्द मिलता है। यह सुविधा Google के इनपुट टूल का इस्तेमाल करती है, इसलिए इसमें टाइप किया शब्द ट्रांसलिटरेशन के लिए Google को भेजा जाता है।
मोबाइल पर ध्यान रखें
- Android के Chrome में वॉयस टाइपिंग सबसे अच्छी चलती है।
- iPhone के Safari में ब्राउज़र की सीमाओं के कारण यह कम भरोसेमंद हो सकती है।

माइक की आम समस्याएँ
- माइक की अनुमति नहीं मिली: एड्रेस बार के ताले (🔒) के निशान पर दबाएँ, माइक को Allow करें और पेज रीफ्रेश करें।
- कुछ भी नहीं लिखा जा रहा: इंटरनेट जाँचें और देखें कि माइक किसी दूसरी ऐप में तो इस्तेमाल नहीं हो रहा।
- गलत भाषा में लिख रहा है: जाँचें कि भाषा का बटन हिंदी पर है या अंग्रेज़ी पर।
लिखे हुए नोट्स को सुनें
लिखने के बाद “🔊 सुनें (Play)” दबाने पर आपके नोट्स आवाज़ में सुनाए जाते हैं। यह आपके डिवाइस की मुफ़्त आवाज़ों में से एक भारतीय महिला आवाज़ चुनने की कोशिश करता है। सबसे अच्छी हिंदी आवाज़ Edge ब्राउज़र (Swara) में मिलती है। इससे आप अपनी ग़लतियाँ पकड़ सकते हैं और रिविज़न भी कर सकते हैं।

Typing long notes or assignments is not easy for everyone, especially in Hindi. With voice typing you simply speak and your voice appears as text on the page. In the dototool digital notebook this works in both Hindi and English. This guide shows how to run it and how to get better results.
How voice typing works
Your browser listens to your voice through the microphone and converts it into text. This is done by the browser's own speech recognition feature, so it works best in browsers such as Chrome and Edge and it needs the internet. dototool does not keep a recording of your voice on its server.
Step-by-step use
- Open the digital notebook and go to the Home tab.
- To speak in Hindi the button should read “🎙️ बोलें (हिंदी)”. For English switch the language with the “🔤 Hindi Typing” button.
- Press the “🎙️ Speak” button. If the browser asks for microphone permission, press Allow.
- The button turns red and shows “Listening”. Now speak. While you speak the words appear in a light color, and become solid when the sentence is complete.
- It keeps running until you press the button again. Even if you stay silent for a while, it starts listening again by itself.
- When you finish, press the button to switch it off.
Tips for better results
- Choose a quiet place. Fans, TV or crowd noise can bring wrong words.
- Speak clearly at a normal speed. Speaking too fast or too slow may cut words.
- Keep the microphone close. Use the phone's microphone close to you, or a good headset on a computer.
- Keep sentences short. Speak short sentences instead of one very long one.
- Add punctuation afterwards. Full stops and commas often do not appear in voice typing, so add them with the keyboard after speaking.
- Read it once later. Re-check names, numbers and English words.
Try the Hindi typing mode too
If you do not want to speak, turn on “🔤 Hindi Typing”. Then typing “dhanyavaad” in English letters gives the Hindi word “धन्यवाद”. This feature uses Google's input tools, so the word you type is sent to Google for transliteration.
What to know on mobile
- Voice typing works best in Chrome on Android.
- In Safari on iPhone it can be less reliable because of browser limits.
- We try to keep the phone screen on while you speak so that it does not switch off.
- The microphone may stop if you move to another app or put the browser in the background. It starts again when you return.
Common microphone problems
- Microphone permission was not given: Tap the lock (🔒) icon in the address bar, Allow the microphone and refresh the page.
- Nothing is being written: Check your internet and see that the microphone is not in use in another app.
- It writes in the wrong language: Check whether the language button is on Hindi or English.
Listen to your written notes
After writing, press “🔊 Listen (Play)” and your notes are read aloud. It tries to choose an Indian female voice from the free voices on your device. The best Hindi voice is found in the Edge browser (Swara). This lets you catch mistakes and also revise.
